Electric ARC furnace
The steel making production line is composed of electric furnace, one LF, one three—motor and three—flow continuous casting.
The raw materials such as scraps, pig iron, molten iron are first fed into the electric ARC furnace, Then, furnace cover closed, high power electrifier begins. At the same time, carbon oxygen lances on the furnace door and oil-oxygen burner on the furnace wall assist the melting of the burden and make foaming slag. Oxygen consume is about 45Nm³/t. The rest materials such as lime and fluorite etc are added into furnace by feeding-machine or manual labor. Electric furnace slag will be treated with water spraying, and then transported out of the workshop to take next treatment.

Structure: overhead model. By this model, favorable work environment may be got, meanwhile, water spraying may be used to treat electric furnace slag, saving slag basket and slag car.
The connection between transformer-output and furnace-arm, is by bunch water-cooling cable. The furnace-arm is combined type and conduct electricity. To improve electro conductibility and equipment dependability immensely, it is water-cooled in cavity of furnace-arm.
Hydraulic pressure drives electrode up and down, electro-hydraulic proportional valve control the movement, sensitive and reliable.
Furnace cover consists of water-cooling pip that close packed. The cover can be used for 3000~4000 times. Upside of furnace wall consists of water-cool parts; it is life long and saving refractory a lot.
